The Nanostructures Physics Group is working in Nanotechnology since the early eighties.
The group has focussed in computational and theoretical physics, investigating a variety of nanostructures, nanostructured materials and their applications to important technological problems such as hydrogen energy or catalysis.
We are experts in the Quantum Mechanical treatment of nanometric materials and in computer simulations of the electronic, structural, magnetic, thermal, dynamical, etc. properties of nanoparticles and nanostructured and layered materials and their interactions with other nanostructures or molecules.
